About Us

I've always believed that sipping wine from a beautiful glass in a stunning setting epitomizes sophistication. As I grew older, I began hosting wine tastings with friends at home. Although I had no idea what I was doing, it was incredibly fun! In October 2021, as the world started to reopen after Covid, I decided to celebrate every weekend of my birthday month, making up for the hardships of the previous year. I booked a winery tour in the North Georgia mountains, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.
Once I returned to the Upstate, I searched for similar tours but found nothing that compared. After several months of research and contemplation, I finally discussed the idea of starting our own wine tour service with my husband. With his stamp of approval and support, Fantastic Travels was born, bringing a new level of wine-tasting experiences to the Upstate.
